Unizin’s 2026 Webinar Series Continues With “Data-Informed Advising: Building an Integrated Dashboard with the Unizin Data Platform”

Unizin's 2026 Webinar series continues its focus on student success with a session highlighting the University of Missouri’s innovative use of data in support of advisors. David Reid, Director of Solutions Architecture & Analytics, and Scott Gossett, Data Analyst, will share how Mizzou launched an advising dashboard that leverages the Unizin Data Platform (UDP) to provide advisors with new insights into student activity, visualized in Power BI dashboards.

The dashboards combine various data from pre-configured Unizin Data marts, including data about student grades, assignment submission trends, and session behaviors. This data allows advisors to view student engagement in Canvas in an aggregated, filterable way. David and Scott will discuss the ease of using Unizin marts to build these tools and share early feedback from the advising groups currently utilizing the system.
